Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani met on Wednesday with the new British Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen.

The Office of the Information Minister stated in a statement, “During the meeting, the prospects for bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields, including oil and energy, were discussed in a way that serves common interests.”
