The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral and Legal Affairs, Omar Al-Barzanji, met with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Development Affairs Coordinator for the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Ghulam Muhammad Ishaq Zai.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, "The two sides discussed many common files, including finding the necessary solutions for the return of the displaced people inside Iraq."

The Undersecretary appreciated "the role of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) in supporting all Iraqi sectors in a way that contributes to strengthening the tasks assigned to it."
