Two light planes collide in Nevada, killing their pilots

Two pilots were killed after two light aircraft collided in the state of Nevada, United States.

The Reno Air Racing Association said in a statement posted on Facebook: “At the conclusion of the T-6 Gold race, two planes collided on landing and the pilots were confirmed dead.”

The statement added: “Both pilots are gold medal winners in the T-6 category, and they flew Six-Cat and Rushing aircraft,” noting that “their families have been notified, and support services are on site dealing with this tragedy.”
