The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the prisoner exchange will take place today and 5 Iranians will be released from American prisons.

The Foreign Ministry said, according to Al Jazeera satellite channel: “The process of implementing the prisoner exchange agreement and the release of Iranian funds is progressing well, step by step.”

It added: “We hope to witness the arrival of our funds released from South Korea to our accounts with one of the countries in the region.”
