Muscat: An ambulance helicopter crashed in southwestern Japan today, resulting in the deaths of three people, as reported by the country’s coast guard.

According to Oman News Agency, the tragic incident claimed the lives of a patient and two others when the medical transport aircraft plunged into the sea. Rescue operations led to the discovery of the pilot and two other individuals who were found in the waters, holding onto lifesavers. Authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
