Oman and Bahrain Chambers of Commerce Explore Trade and Investment Opportunities

Muscat:A delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has commenced a visit to Bahrain to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two nations. The visit includes discussions between the OCCI and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

According to Oman News Agency, Rashid bin Amer Al Maslahi, First Deputy Chairman of the OCCI Board of Directors, met with Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of the BCCI. They discussed various sectors, including logistics and road transport, aiming to improve the smooth flow of goods between Oman and Bahrain, which would benefit traders and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The discussions also focused on leveraging the Bahrain Chamber's experience in activating sectoral committees and fostering cooperation with OCCI. This includes utilizing centers established by the OCCI to further strengthen bilateral relations and economic ties.
