Manama:The Sultanate of Oman took part in the 37th meeting of the Petroleum Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which was convened in Manama, Bahrain.
According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals.
Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary-General of the GCC, highlighted the importance of energy security, noting that it involves not only production capacity but also the assurance of delivery and continuity of supplies under various conditions. He emphasized that GCC states are actively working on diversifying energy export routes and maintaining supply chain continuity to bolster the resilience of the Gulf energy system against rapid changes.
