Ibra: The first stage of the preliminary qualifiers for the 33rd edition of the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition kicked off today in the Wilayat of Ibra. This round of the competition covers the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah and will continue until 28 August.

According to Oman News Agency, Said Mussalam Al Muhaijri, a member of the competition’s judging committee, stated that the number of participants in the Ibra center reached 234 contestants across seven levels. These include: Level 1 (full memorization of the Holy Quran), Level 2 (memorization of 24 consecutive parts), Level 3 (memorization of 18 consecutive parts), Level 4 (memorization of 12 consecutive parts), Level 5 (memorization of 6 consecutive parts), Level 6 (memorization of 4 consecutive parts), and Level 7 (memorization of 2 consecutive parts).
