Palestinian youth succumbs to injuries from Israeli gunfire near RamallahAmbassador Akbari: Syrian, Iranian relations based on principles, values

RAMALLAH: A Palestinian youth has Thursday morning succumbed to the wounds he sustained from Israeli occupation forces' gunfire, sources said. They said that Mohammad Khalil Barghouti from the town of Kafr Ain, northwest of Ramallah, died as a result of his injuries. Barghouti, was injured about two weeks ago by Israeli occupation forces' bullets during a military raid into the said town. Source: Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA Damascus, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, Hossein Akbari, said Thursday that the Syrian-Iranian relations are based on principles and values, affirming his country's keenness on standing by Syria and supporting it. 'Syria, like Iran, has paid precious costs during the last decades, in order to remain in the resistance axis,' Akbari said in a press conference on the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution, adding that both countries' ties are based on principles, not on economic interests. He hailed Syria's support to Iran when it has come under an unfair war. 'Syria didn't hesitate to stand by Iran despite the unjust blockade and all pressures imposed on it,' the Ambassador added.
