Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 36.9 points, comprising a rise by 0.87% to close at 4260.72 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4223.83 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 7,953,474, comprising a surge by 77.3%, compared to the last session, which stood at RO 4,484,907. The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by 0.497% to reach about RO 27.30 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 837,000, comprising 10.52%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,837,000, comprising 23.10%. The net non-Omani investment decreased by 12.58% to RO 1,000,000.
