Manama: Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, alongside the Foreign Ministers of the GCC. This meeting was part of the 167th session of the GCC Ministerial Council held in Bahrain.
According to Oman News Agency, the Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, along with wishes for prosperity, growth, security, and stability for the Bahraini people. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the strong Gulf cohesion and solidarity among the Council's states in addressing challenges and risks that could affect their security and stability.
The ministers expressed appreciation for the meeting, Bahrain's hosting of the Ministerial Council, and its successful presidency of the current session. They affirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation and joint Gulf action, guided by the wisdom of GCC leaders, for the benefit, growth, and prosperity of the region and its peoples.
