The Directorate of Military Intelligence announced on Monday the arrest of nine terrorism suspects belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in Anbar and Nineveh.

The Directorate said in a statement, “With proactive operations and a distinguished intelligence effort, and according to accurate intelligence information from the command divisions of the Tenth and Sixteenth Divisions affiliated with the Directorate of Military Intelligence, and in cooperation with the ground forces present in the areas of responsibility, tight ambushes were set up in separate areas of the two governorates, which resulted in the arrest of nine accused of terrorism in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law in Ramadi and Mosul districts and who were working as members of ISIS terrorist gangs, and they were handed over to the concerned authorities.
