Basra Police arrested two instigators of an armed quarrel and seized a narcotic substance in their possession at the officers’ headquarters.

The Basra Governorate Police Command stated that, after receiving news of an armed quarrel in the officers’ Houses area, which led to the injury of one of the parties to the quarrel and he was taken to the hospital to receive treatment, a security force immediately went from Al-Jumhuriya Police Station to the scene of the incident, and after investigating and gathering information, the whereabouts of the accused (the second party) tha force was able to arrest them and confiscate the weapon used (a Kalashnikov rifle).

The statement added: A narcotic substance and drug abuse tools were also seized, and legal measures were taken against them.
