Kirkuk, The Turkmen MPs, Ghareeb Askar al-Turkmani, Head of the Turkmen parliamentary bloc, Arshad al-Salhi, MP Luqman al-Rashidi, Advisor to the House of Representatives, Nour al-Din Qabalan, met with the Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani National Assembly, Fadel al-Ibrahimi, and a number of representatives, on the sidelines of the official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to enhance cooperation between the Iraqi Parliament and the Azerbaijani National Council, exchange legislative and parliamentary diplomacy and experiences, and coordinate positions, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by a number of representatives from the Azerbaijani National Council and members of the Azerbaijan-Iraqi Friendship Committee.
