The Turkish intelligence announced the killing of a prominent leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), in a security operation it carried out on the outskirts of the city of Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq.
And Turkish intelligence stated in a media circular today that the leading figure of the PKK organization / Bakr Kina / underwent intensive training to assassinate members of the Turkish forces in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, northern Iraq, after he joined the ranks of the organization in 2019 and was active inside the Iraqi and Iranian lands.
The Turkish intelligence indicated that Kina underwent a training period in the recent period on several types of weapons, and the organization intended to bring him into Turkish territory to carry out armed operations accompanied by a group of the Kurdistan organization, which required getting rid of him by the elements of the Turkish intelligence in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
