The Minister of Interior confirms that he will not tolerate with those wanted by the judiciary and outlaws

The Minister of Interior, Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, stressed the lack of complacency in applying the law, and arresting those who deviated from it.

He said, while chairing a meeting at the police headquarters of Al-Muthanna Governorate, which he arrived this morning, with a number of leaders and officers, that we will not tolerate pursuing drug dealers and promoters, and fighting the corrupt, in addition to working with the latest systems to protect the Iraqi borders.

The Minister called for cooperation with citizens in enhancing security and stability, in constant communication with them, and in listening to their requests and needs.

On a related level, the Minister confirmed that his visit to Muthanna comes to see the security situation in Muthanna Governorate, as well as to meet with its officials.

The Minister explained that the General Directorate for Drug Control has been restructured and there is diligent work to combat drugs with government agencies, including the Ministry of Health, in addition to holding a conference with neighboring countries to combat drugs and hand over the wanted.

The Minister indicated that there is a continuous follow-up of the corruption file, indicating that it has decreased after the deterrent measures that were taken against the officers and affiliates who were proven to be involved in these cases, and these measures or penalties may reach the point of expulsion or referral to retirement.
