The Body Of One Of The Arbaeen Pilgrims Recovered From The Euphrates River, North Of Babylon

A detachment of the river police recovered the body of a drowned young man from the Euphrates River, north of Babylon.

Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, media director of Babylon Police, said: "The drowned man is one of the Arbaeen pilgrims from Baghdad, and he drowned while swimming in the Euphrates River passing through Al-Mahnawiya area of Al-Musayyib district."

Al-Husseini called on visitors to avoid swimming in unqualified streams and rivers because safety and security conditions are not available.
