The bodies of two juveniles recovered from the Euphrates River passing through the city of Hilla

The river police affiliated with the Babylon Police Command recovered separately today, Wednesday, two bodies belonging to two juveniles, one born in 2008 and the other in 2009, from the Euphrates River passing through the city of Hilla.

Babylon Police Director of Information, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, “The River Police, through calls, were able to recover the bodies of two juveniles, one of whom was born in 2008 and lives in the Saif Saad area, and the second was born in 2009 and lives in Al-Wardiyah Kharg area of the city of Hilla, today, Wednesday.”

He added that the police transferred the two bodies to the forensic medicine office, and that an investigation was opened into the incident.
