Muscat: Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, received Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at the Council’s headquarters today, alongside his accompanying delegation. This meeting is a part of Bayramov’s official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, highlighting the strengthening ties between the two nations.
According to Oman News Agency, Sheikh Al Khalili emphasized the significance of such visits in fortifying bilateral relations and fostering discussions on mutual interests. He noted that these interactions showcase the commitment of both countries to enhance cooperation and joint coordination efforts.
During their meeting, Sheikh Al Khalili elaborated on the critical role of the State Council in legislative functions, including its efforts in addressing legal, economic, and developmental issues. These efforts are aligned with the objectives of “Oman Vision 2040,” aiming to support national progress and development.
Jeyhun Bayramov, on behalf of Azerbaijan, expressed his country’s strong desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Oman. He highlighted the aspiration to elevate the existing relations, ensuring they continue to evolve and prosper for the benefit of both nations.
The meeting was also attended by several members of the State Council and the Secretary-General, indicating the importance and high-level nature of these discussions.
