Six wanted terrorists arrested in Nineveh

The Intelligence Agency specialized in combating terrorism in the Ministry of Interior announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of 6 wanted terrorists in Nineveh Governorate.

The Intelligence Agency stated in a statement: "Its detachments specialized in combating terrorism in Nineveh Governorate managed to arrest 6 wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law."

It added, "The terrorists were working within ISIS gangs and belonged to the so-called (Diwan al-Jund, Camp Abi Jaafar al-Ansari, Askar Sector of Omar al-Farooq, Mu'ta Division, al-Furqan Division, and Mosul Sharia Court), where they were paid money for their work there."

It pointed out: "The process of arresting the wanted persons was carried out according to accurate intelligence information provided by the citizens to the intelligence Agency men, which led to their arrest."

It continued, "When checking the data, documents were indicated to the investigators condemning them to belonging to the terrorist gangs of ISIS, where the statements of the accused were written down and they explicitly confessed to their affiliation, and they will be referred to the competent authorities to receive their just punishment," calling on citizens to "report on all outlaws in all parts of Iraq through Calling the toll-free hot number 144.”
