SAF Chief of Staff Meets Secretary-General of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition

Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), welcomed Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Saeed Al Moghedi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, along with his delegation, at Al Murtafaa Camp today.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting involved the exchange of views and discussions on several matters of mutual interest. The visit underscored the collaborative efforts between the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition in addressing regional security concerns.

In addition to the meeting, the Secretary-General and his delegation made a visit to the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). They were received by Commodore Abdullah Ali Al Hajri, the head of the centre. During the visit, they were briefed on the centre's roles in ensuring the safety of the marine environment within regional waters. The delegation was also given a tour of the MSC's facilities, learning about the modern technologies and systems that enhance its operational capabilities.
