Muscat: Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, today received Mukhtar Babayev, Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Climate Affairs. The meeting took place within the framework of the guest's visit to the Sultanate of Oman to participate in the second edition of Oman Climate Week 2026.

According to Oman News Agency, during the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed in the fields of sustainable agriculture, water resources management, and adaptation to climate change. The two sides also reviewed joint initiatives and projects that would support efforts to achieve sustainable agricultural and water development and enhance the capacity to address the impacts of climate change.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
