Muscat:Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), met with Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, to discuss enhancing economic and commercial relations between the two countries.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on developing economic ties and the role of the private sector in fostering sustainable commercial and investment partnerships. Topics included boosting commercial exchanges, expanding traded products, and exploring opportunities for companies in Oman and Uzbekistan.

The discussions also emphasized the importance of direct communication between Omani and Uzbek companies to identify potential joint projects. Al Rowas highlighted OCCI's efforts in facilitating business interactions through trade delegations, forums, and bilateral meetings, aiming to strengthen trade relations and cooperation.
