Muscat:Acting in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance organized a workshop titled 'Insurance of Government Assets and Management of Movable Assets'. The event aimed to outline the regulations and procedures related to the insurance and disposal of government assets.

According to Oman News Agency, the workshop covered two main areas: the first focused on insurance policies designed to protect government assets from risks and the procedures for following up on insurance claims. The second area addressed the regulations and procedures for the management and disposal of government movable assets, including processes for sales and electronic auctions.

The workshop was also intended to enhance public awareness regarding the management of government assets and to ensure compliance with approved regulations. This initiative is part of efforts to preserve public funds effectively.
