Muscat: Sultan Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance received in his office today Dr. Mohammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group. The meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation in the economic and social development areas in a manner that boosts march of progress and prosperity and serves the desired aspirations and goals of Oman Vision 2040. The two sides also touched on a set of topics of mutual interest. The meeting comes within the context of the joint cooperation between Oman and the Islamic Development Bank Group to realize social and economic development in the Islamic countries and communities, in addition to promoting innovative and sustainable solutions to development challenges in member states through the establishment of strategic projects that enhance aspects of cooperation and partnership between them.
