Oman Engages in Arab Traffic Conference to Boost Road Safety

Tunis:The Sultanate of Oman, through its Royal Oman Police (ROP), actively took part in the 22nd Arab Conference of Heads of Traffic Agencies held in Tunisia.

According to Oman News Agency, the conference, organized by the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, spanned two days and concluded its activities today. It focused on enhancing joint cooperation among member states, exploring the application of modern technologies, and implementing innovative solutions for improved traffic control and road safety.

The discussions also aimed at unifying the Arab awareness discourse on traffic safety and included deliberations on the agenda for the upcoming Arab Traffic Week events. Brigadier Eng. Ali Sulayem Al Fallahi, Director General of Traffic, led the delegation from the Royal Oman Police.
