Manama: King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today received Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama. During the meeting, the Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and extended best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Bahraini people.

According to Oman News Agency, the King conveyed his heartfelt sentiments to His Majesty the Sultan, praising the continuous development and growth of relations between Bahrain and Oman across various fields. They reviewed the existing cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance it, reaffirming their commitment to continued coordination and consultation to serve mutual interests.

The meeting included attendance from both Omani and Bahraini officials. On the Omani side, Maj. General Abdullah bin Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, and Sayyid Faisal bin Harib Al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Bahrain, were present. Representing Bahrain, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and several other officials participated in the discussions.
