Israeli Entity Halts Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Amid Ceasefire Tensions

Gaza: The Israeli occupation today decided to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and close the crossings until further notice.

According to Oman News Agency, the Israeli decision was taken during a meeting held last night, marking a significant shift in the situation as Israel steps back from the ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire agreement, which entered into force in the Gaza Strip last January 2025, followed a devastating conflict that began on 7 October 2023. This conflict resulted in nearly 50,000 martyrs and over 119,750 wounded, highlighting the severe humanitarian impact on the region.

The decision to halt aid and close crossings comes as the first phase of the ceasefire agreement concludes, raising concerns about the future of peace efforts in the region. The meeting, which led to this decision, underscores the fragile nature of the ceasefire and the ongoing challenges in maintaining stability and support for the affected populations in Gaza.
