Hundreds of demonstrators, Arabs and Turkmen, gathered in front of the advanced headquarters of joint operations in Kirkuk, to confirm their refusal to hand over the headquarters to the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the continued closure of the road linking Kirkuk and Erbil.

The Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Jabbar Naima Al-Taie, told the demonstrators at the headquarters gate: "Our security forces and our valiant army are protecting you, and you will remain honored and strengthened in expressing your peaceful message."/ End
