Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a congratulatory cable to President Viola Amherd, President of the Swiss Confederation, on the occasion of her election as President of her country. In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Viola Amherd, wishing her success in leading the friendly people of Switzerland towards further progress and prosperity.
