GCC Course on Media Monitoring, Analysis Techniques Kicks Off in Muscat

Muscat: Acting in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, the GCC Radio and Television Corporation has launched a 5-day course titled “Media Monitoring and Analysis Techniques and Methods” in Muscat. The course aims to enhance the skills of participants in utilizing advanced monitoring and analysis platforms to improve media action and institutional decision-making.

According to Oman News Agency, the course targets information personnel working in public relations, media, and journalism. It underscores the significance of digital media, exploring its various types and its impact on building the digital identity of websites. Participants will gain insights into monitoring techniques and tools, digital content editing, and digital website management. The course also covers methods for measuring and developing content performance alongside practical applications.

The course has attracted over 300 participants who are engaging through in-person attendance and video conferencing, signifying a wide interest in advancing media monitoring and analysis capabilities.
