Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received several ambassadors today to bid them farewell as they concluded their respective tours of duty in the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting included Dr. Mohammad bin Nasser Al Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Muhammet Hekimoglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Trkiye, and Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand.

According to Oman News Agency, Sayyid Badr expressed appreciation for the contributions made by each ambassador in enhancing bilateral relations between their respective countries and Oman. During the meeting with Dr. Mohammad bin Nasser Al Hajri, the Foreign Minister acknowledged the strengthening of fraternal relations between Kuwait and Oman, extending best wishes for his future endeavors.

The farewell gatherings were attended by key officials, including Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department, and Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocol Department, among others. The Foreign Minister also conveyed gratitude to Dr. Muhammet Hekimoglu of Trkiye for his efforts in fortifying ties between the two nations, wishing him well in his future assignments.

In the meeting with Warunee Pan-krajang, the Thai Ambassador, Sayyid Badr commended her role in advancing bilateral relations between Thailand and Oman. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department, was among the officials present at the occasion.

These farewell meetings underscored the importance of diplomatic relations and the contributions of outgoing ambassadors in fostering international cooperation and mutual understanding.
