A force from the Fourth Region Border Command arrested an Iraqi who tried to infiltrate into the Kuwaiti side, west of Basra.

A source in the Command told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a force from the headquarters of the Fourteenth Brigade thwarted an infiltration attempt by an Iraqi citizen near the annex of the Second Company (Jil Sanam), who tried to infiltrate into the Kuwaiti side.

He added, "Legal measures will be taken against him and he will be handed over to Safwan Police Station."
