Muscat: In pursuance of its efforts to promote the wellbeing of insolvent people and their families, the “Fak-Kurbah” humanitarian initiative succeeded in releasing 999 insolvent people since the launch of its 12th edition before the start of the holy month of Ramadan this year.

According to Oman News Agency, the release of the insolvents was conducted in two stages. The first stage included 511 cases, while the second stage added 488 cases, bringing the total number of released individuals to 999.

Launched in 2021, the Fak-Kurba initiative has so far contributed to the release of more than 7,110 insolvent people.
