The Ministry of Interior announced today, Monday, that Baghdad Al-Rusafa police arrested a number of defendants wanted under various legal provisions.

The Ministry said in a statement: “The Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command revealed that the detachments of the police stations (Bab Al-Sheikh, Al-Mada’in, Al-Rusafa, Al-Rafidain, Al-Tahtheeb, Al-Sadr Al-Ula, Husseiniyat Al-Ma’amel, Al-Shaab, and Al-Zuhur) police stations arrested a number of defendants wanted for various crimes according to Legal materials.

It added: The arrest process came through conducting security practices and executing arrest warrants in various areas within the sector of responsibility, and legal measures were taken against the accused and the fundamental violators.
