Arsenal End 22-Year Wait to Clinch EPL Title After Manchester City Slip

Arsenal: Arsenal have been crowned English Premier League (EPL) champions for the first time since 2004, ending a 22-year drought after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth, sealing the title with one match to spare.

According to Oman News Agency, the Gunners had led the table for most of the season and went into the final round with a four-point cushion. City needed a win to keep the race alive, but could only manage a draw.

The title is Arsenal's 14th league championship and their first since the invincible season of 2003-04 under Ars¨ne Wenger. It is also the club's first major trophy since winning the FA Cup in 2020.

Celebrations erupted across north London as fans gathered around the Emirates Stadium to mark the historic achievement, with jubilant scenes lasting well into the night.

The triumph came under Mikel Arteta, who rebuilt the team on defensive solidity and tactical discipline, leading the club back to the EPL title after a long absence amid widespread praise for their consistency throughout the season.
