The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) announced the arrest of (4) terrorists, including an explosives expert, in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk.

The CTS stated in a statement that: "According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad al-Sudani, and under the supervision of the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahhab Al-Saadi, the forces of the CTS carried out a series of specific operations, which resulted in the arrest of (4) terrorists from the terrorist ISIS gangs."

The CTS explained: "The units of the CTS arrested, in coordination with the Anti-Terrorism Directorate in Erbil, the terrorist leader (W.M.M), who occupies the position of an explosives expert in the northern sector of the terrorist ISIS gangs."

It added, "Within cooperation with the anti-terrorism regiment in Sulaymaniyah and with two separate duties, two terrorists were arrested in Bazian and Chamchamal regions. And within a series of specific operations, a special force from the anti-terrorism apparatus carried out an operation to arrest a terrorist in Kirkuk."
