The Anti-Crime Directorate in Baghdad announced, today, Sunday, the arrest of two persons wanted by the judiciary in Baghdad.
The Directorate stated in a statement, “Detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate/Al-Bayaa Anti-Crime Office were able to arrest a suspect wanted in accordance with Article (4) of terrorism for opening fire on a residential building (a tribal raid) within Al-Bayaa area in Baghdad, where the investigation papers were presented to the investigating judge and he decided to arrest him in accordance with the provisions of Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
It added, “During the security practices of the Anti-Crime detachments in a number of areas of the capital, they were able to arrest five defendants for stealing motorcycles and tik-tuk, seizing three vehicles and arresting their drives due to the presence of seizure notes in the database. Legal measures were taken against them and they were brought to justice to receive their just punishment.”
