Baghdad - The Border Ports Authority announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of a foreign traveler carrying an amount of money exceeding the permissible limit according to the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq.

The authority stated in a statement, “Today, the Zurbatieh Border Port Directorate was able to arrest a foreign traveler in the passenger (arrival) hall and seized in his possession an amount of money exceeding the permissible limit according to the instructions of the Central Bank, as the total amounted to (27,855,000) dinars, and as a result, a committee was formed, a proper arrest report was organized, and the accused was referred to the Zurbatieh Customs Center to take appropriate legal measures against him.”/ End
