A fire devoured dozens of dunums of farmers’ crops in Harir plain, in Erbil

A fire broke out in the Harir Plain of Erbil Governorate, consuming farmers' crops in dozens of acres of agricultural land.

According to the Rudaw Network, the fire led to the burning of more than half of the lands extending in those plains, where wheat, fig and pomegranate orchards were severely damaged.

It added that about 50 farmers from Harir and Basarmah were affected by the fire.
