The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced the arrest of two terrorists who participated in the fighting against members of the armed forces, security services and the popular mobilization during the liberation battles.

The agency stated in a statement: "The detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in Kirkuk governorate arrested two wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of Article / Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law, and the arrest process came after following them up and luring them into a tight ambush."

It added: "They explicitly confessed to belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs within the so-called Diwan al-Jund and the Islamic Police (Hisba), and receiving a set of training in addition to receiving sums of money in return for carrying out terrorist acts. ./End
