Maqshan: Acting in cooperation with the Dhofar Governor’s Office and government institutions, the Wilayat of Maqshan today organized an event to welcome visitors of the Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) Season 2025. The event was part of efforts to promote domestic tourism in the governorate’s wilayats and aimed to accommodate the influx of visitors from the Sultanate of Oman and abroad.

According to Oman News Agency, this initiative was undertaken by the office of the Wali of Maqshan. The event is expected to serve as a platform that enhances the tourism appeal of the Dhofar region, highlighting its unique attractions during the monsoon season. The Dhofar Governor’s Office and various government institutions played a pivotal role in coordinating the activities and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
