Musandam: The 3rd edition of the traditional shooting championship concluded today in the Wilayat of Khasab, Governorate of Musandam. The event, held as part of the Musandam winter festival, drew wide public response due to the fact that it represented a way of safeguarding aspects of the Omani heritage.

According to Oman News Agency, the championship was organized by the Office of Musandam Governorate to highlight traditional sports that constitute a cornerstone of Omani national identity and offer an opportunity for fair competition.

Nadir Suleiman Al Shehhi claimed first place in the championship by registering 52 points. Second place was secured by Saad Said Al Shehhi, who achieved 45 points, while third place went to Abdullah Ali Al Shehhi with 40 points.

The trophies were handed over to the winners by Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Farsi, Wali of Khasab.
