Muscat: The activities of the third edition of the Military Discipline Program commenced today at the Military Technological College (MTC) in Muscat Governorate. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with support from several military, security, and other government entities, the program features the participation of more than 1,000 students from various governorates across the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the program, which runs until 19 August, includes lectures on military discipline and order, first aid, teamwork, leadership methods, and military sciences, alongside various awareness lectures. The program also features a variety of sports competitions and specialized workshops on citizenship, belonging, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship, aiming to foster modern leadership thinking and hone the personal and social skills of participating students.
It is worth noting that the program achieved remarkable success in its first and second editions over the past two years. It continues in 2026 with a broader vision through multiple objectives, all focused on a primary goal: building a generation of conscious Omani youth who possess discipline, a spirit of leadership, a sincere sense of belonging to the homeland, and loyalty to the Sultan.
