The Supreme Judicial Council Holds Its Twelfth Session In 2023

Baghdad -The Supreme Judicial Council held its twelfth session at 8: am today, headed by the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Judge Faiq Zaidan.

The Council stated in a statement: “The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Farah Jabbar Hashem, a lecturer at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, for her efforts in organizing workshops for a project to develop the cognitive path of judges in the courts of appeal and preparing a draft proposal for the Code of Procedure Penal".

The Council approved the promotion of a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution and the granting of judicial positions required by the working conditions in the Presidency of Appeals, in accordance with the proposal submitted by the Presidency of Appeals.
