The Saudi and Iranian Foreign Ministers discuss strengthening relations between the two countries

The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, discussed today, Thursday, with his Iranian counterpart, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, joint relations, and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed aspects of intensifying consultative meetings at the bilateral and multilateral levels in order to achieve more positive prospects and serve the interests of the two countries, as well as the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts made in this regard.

Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian arrived Thursday afternoon in Riyadh on his first visit since the resumption of relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The official Iranian News Agency "IRNA" said that Abdullahian arrived at Riyadh airport for a one-day visit, and was received by the Saudi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary.
