The Russian Ministry of Defense announced, today, Sunday, that it had thwarted an attack carried out by 25 Ukrainian drones on targets in the Crimea, without causing casualties.
“Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out an attack by 25 drones on targets in the territory of Crimea was thwarted,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, 16 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense fire, while 9 other Ukrainian drones were disabled by electronic warfare, without reaching the target, and crashed in the Black Sea near Cape Tarkhankut in the west of the peninsula.
The ministry confirmed that “the failed attack did not result in any injuries or damage.”
Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had thwarted an attack by 3 Ukrainian drones on targets in Moscow, without causing casualties or injuries.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced last Monday that it had thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to carry out an attack using 17 drones on targets in the Crimea.
