Baghdad -The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the need to end the suffering of the displaced.

A presidential statement said: “Today, Rashid met at Baghdad Palace with the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, and discussed with her the file of the displaced in the country.”

Rashid stressed "the necessity of ending this humanitarian file as soon as possible by ensuring the return of all displaced persons who are still living in difficult conditions in displacement camps."

For her part, the Minister of Immigration and Displacement appreciated the President of the Republic’s great interest in the displaced persons’ file, and reviewed to him the Ministry’s work in resolving the displaced persons’ file and their return to their homes and cities.
