The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, confirmed today, Thursday, the continuation of efforts to search for the fate of the missing Yazidi women.

The President of the Republic said in a tweet on "Twitter" on the occasion of the anniversary of the crime of genocide of the Yazidis "On the ninth anniversary of the crime of genocide of the Yazidis, we continue to intensify efforts to search for the fate of the disappeared women in the ISIS captivity."

He added: "the state will not perpetuate rest, a conscience will not rest, and a soul will not be reassured, unless the criminals of the era are tried, the abducted women are returned, and their rights are restored."
