The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received today, Wednesday, the Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan.

A statement by the Judicial Council stated, "Zaidan received the Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mar Ignatius Youssef III Younan and his accompanying delegation, accompanied by the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Evan Faiq, and discussed with them mechanisms for preserving the Christian heritage in Iraq."
